My church (Springwood Church of Christ) is looking for applications to appoint another youthworker/youth pastor to our church to start 2010. This is a FULL TIME position.

-          The Position  will include working with our current youth worker, youth ministry and pastoral team.

-          The Primary role is in establishing and managing a youth drop-in program for teenagers (at our church) run primarily 4-5 days each week (occasionally on school holidays) – building relationships with teenagers from the immediate schools – encouragement, mentoring, skills development – and providing hands on pastoral support

-          The Secondary role is involvement in the Friday night and Sunday Night youth activities

Young Families Pastor - Glebe Rd Uniting Church

A Young Families Pastor, permanent part time (20 hrs/wk), is required by Glebe Road Ipswich Uniting Church:
-   To assist the congregation to guide and nurture children and their families in the Christian faith and into membership of the church.
-   To train and assist leaders and other volunteers in ministering to children and their families.
-   To provide oversight for children’s programs and other ministries that work with families in the congregation and the wider community, integrating them into its life.
The applicant will be a Member or Member in Association of The Uniting Church in Australia or intending to become a Member or Member in Association.
Remuneration by negotiation.

LOWER HUNTER YOUTH MISSION WORKER

A newly created and exciting opportunity to support, develop, encourage and mentor young people as they seek to explore faith and grow their passion for ministry.

The Hunter Presbytery is serious about Youth Ministry, creating and resourcing a new, fulltime, 3 year placement. A suitably qualified person will develop youth leadership through training and support for congregationally based youth groups and other faith communities, provide regional opportunities to explore faith and connect young people with the wider ministry of the Uniting Church.
